It depends on how bad it is now, but if you mow and water your lawn exactly as we explain, it will take less than one year.

We kill all weeds including Clover, Dandelions, Thistles and every other weed EXCEPT for Wild Violet, which are considered completely uncontrollable.  We can prevent them from spreading, but they’ll need to die of old age.

Crabgrass is exceptionally tricky to get rid of, as the seeds can remain active in your soil for up to 17 years.  Our Crabgrass control works very well in years when the weather is just right, and very poorly in years where there is either a lot of spring rain, or no spring rain.  In time, we will get rid of it.

No.  A thick, green weed-free organic lawn needs a holistic approach that takes into account soil nutrition, soil composition, pH levels and correct watering and mowing.  You are wasting your money spraying weeds if you don’t take care of all the other factors involved in eliminating them.

LawnMart includes everything you need for a fantastic lawn EXCEPT for the mowing and watering.  If you can mow and water once per week the way we teach you (it’s easy!), we’ll do everything else.

It’s generally not necessary.  While it never hurts to put a sterilized soil on your lawn, the benefit generally doesn’t justify the cost.  The only time we recommend soil is if you want an area seeded.  Be sure to use a soil that says “Weed Free” on the bag if you do top-dress.

To keep it simple, water your lawn only ONCE per week, for 4 hours each zone from May 1st until September 1st.  Correct watering is the #1 most important factor for success.

Mow once per week, every week from May 1st until it stops growing in the fall.  Set your mower to cut at between 7cm and 8cm tall, NO shorter!  Correct mowing is the second most important factor for success.

We deal with Mother Nature, and she can be cruel at times.  If you’re watering and mowing correctly and things go wrong, we’ll come back at no cost to you, as many times as is necessary to correct the problem and get your lawn back in fantastic condition.

We work with these products every day and would never use anything that could harm us or you, your children or your pets.

We bill after each application and you have 30 days to pay.  We are a cash-free company but we offer online banking on your banks website, VISA or MasterCard over the phone or a good old cheque in the mail for all of our clients who love practicing their penmanship.
